Kaysi Glasgo MS, PA(ASCP)CM
Kaysi Glasgo MS, PA(ASCP)CM is a lead pathologists’ assistant at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. Her current role allows her to serve as a mentor to her colleagues, fellow staff members, pathology residents, current pathologists’ assistant students, and future pathologists’ assistant students through coordinating shadowing opportunities. Kaysi has served as the chair of the Staff Advisory Committee for Ohio State’s College of Medicine throughout fiscal year 2024, having led the group in initiatives pertaining to staff support, development, and recognition. Mrs. Glasgo is passionate about people’s positive experiences in the workplace by advocating for the professional development, benefit, and wellbeing of staff and learners. She received her Bachelor of Science at Ohio University in Biological Sciences with a Mathematics minor and completed her Master of Science in Pathologists’ Assistant training at Drexel University. A member of ASCP, Mrs. Glasgo is also a fellow of the American Association of Pathologists’ Assistants (AAPA), where she currently serves as the vice chair of the Education Committee, chair of the Grossing Videos Subcommittee, Student Liaison for Drexel University, and as a lead content creator of the forthcoming Preceptor Program. Mrs. Glasgo enjoys sharing her passion for pathology by advocating for clinical laboratory careers in her community and alma mater, being frequently invited back to Ohio University to discuss her PA career journey. She is also an amateur ballroom dancer, avid book reader, competitive volleyball player, video and board game enthusiast, and a dog/cat/plant mom!
