He organizes community outreach programs and played a pioneering role in leading the organization in the first-ever International Lab Week Celebrations in the country in 2023. This celebration aims to enhance the visibility and impact of laboratory scientists while also conducting free medical screenings.
He also develops simple quality management tools using Excel for use in under-resourced settings. Driven by his personal experience as a sickle cell disease sufferer, he seeks to address the question of why it took over 20 years to confirm his condition.
