Raza Hoda MD, FASCP
Raza Hoda, MD, FASCP, is an assistant professor of Pathology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in Classics, and attended Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where he received the Sigmund L. Wilens Prize for Excellence in Pathology. Dr. Hoda completed anatomic pathology residency and cytopathology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and breast pathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is a fellow of ASCP and a member of USCAP, the Arthur Purdy Stout Society, the International Society of Breast Pathology, American Society of Cytopathology, and the International Academy of Cytology. Dr. Hoda’s academic career is dedicated to excellence in clinical service, clinical/translational research, and graduate medical education. He co-authored the fifth edition of Rosen's Diagnosis of Breast Pathology by Needle Core Biopsy textbook and contributed to the WHO Reporting Systems for Pancreaticobiliary Cytopathology and upcoming Breast series. He has presented at multiple national and international pathology meetings and contributed more than 40 peer-reviewed publications to the medical literature. He serves as reviewer for several esteemed medical journals. He has served as Associate Residency Program Director at Cleveland Clinic for three years and spearheaded several initiatives in promoting resident graduated responsibility and is chair of the Clinical Competency Committee. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hoda’s interests include art history, classic cars, and teaching his kids how to play golf.
