Robina Colclough-Davy, MS, MLS(ASCP)CM
Robina Colclough-Davy, MS, MLS(ASCP)CM, is the program director and assistant professor of the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program at St. John’s University, in Queens, New York. She is also a board-certified and licensed medical laboratory scientist who specializes in immunohematology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology at York College and her Master of Science in biomedical sciences, with a concentration in medical and molecular immunology at Long Island University C.W. Post. Mrs. Colclough-Davy chose the blood bank as her laboratory specialty before she graduated and has never regretted it. While she still practices in the clinical setting, her full-time faculty position allows her to educate and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. As program director, she strives to ensure that students have the best academic and professional experience during their college careers. She also believes in empowering her students and faculty to develop themselves as individuals who will make a positive impact in the global community. Her interests include mentorship, professional advocacy, and molecular mutations. Outside of work, she enjoys the company of close friends and family, humor, a good movie, music, and nature. She lives by the motto: If you live another day, there’s always opportunity for change.
